I’m doing a lot. Maybe too much.
And in the middle of it all, I sometimes forget the simplest thing: to breathe.
Not the automatic kind — the kind that helps my nervous system reset.
The kind that reminds my body it’s not in danger. That I’m allowed to pause.
I don’t need a quiet room or a meditation app.
I just need a few minutes and a bit of intention.
Here’s what I do:
🌿 I sit down. Let my hands rest in my lap.
🌿 Inhale slowly through my nose for 4 counts.
🌿 Hold for 2. Exhale through my mouth for 6.
🌿 Repeat three times. That’s it.
It’s not a cure. But it’s a tool.
And sometimes, tools are what get me through the day.
💜 I deserve moments that help me feel like me again.
